LOL

KTHNXBAI!

From about two weeks after flickr started including “Now you know how to greet people in xxx” to users’ homepages, I’ve tended to ignore it. Today’s greeting made me, well, LOL!

(You’re not alone if you don’t get the lolspeak thing. After a while it gives me a headache. Probably why it’s limited to very short sentences.) ;)

  1. I’ve grown to the point of totally ignoring it, but I figured they might come in handy some day… :D

  2. LOLCAT IZ TEH LANGUAGE OV TEH FUCHUR. BETTR START PRACTICIN NAO.

  3. Hai!

LOL. I do a Sunday Lolcat Scripshers feature where I provide that Sunday’s readings from the Lolcat Bible for those who don’t attend “regular” church.

Martin Grondin (Lolcat Bible guru) calls it ‘Kitty Pidgin’

I can’t say that I “get” why people at the cheezburger site feel obligated to have long drawn out conversations in lolspeak, but I think the Kitty Pidgin Bible is hilarious. They’ve got tons of people translating the Bible into it now.

If you want, you can check it out via the Sunday Scripshers button in my sidebar.

  4. OHAI! ;)

I just looked at your post a few minutes ago and nearly fell off my chair laughing. And Thank You for posting the link to the lolcat translator! I found it last week, forgot to bookmark it and then couldn’t find it again. All safely bookmarked now.
