(The only thing I will agree to disagree on is not under any circumstance would I be thrilled, guarded or not, about possible peace with Syria. There’s too much blood on the hands of the present regime, which stretches out to the West to Hizbollah and to the East to Iran. No handouts for them.)

Thanks so much for letting me know, Shirl! I hate sending snail mail because so much of it goes missing, especially the cards.
The cherries didn’t last long and it’s the season here again; we’re going up to the Golan to pick more in the next couple of weeks, while we still can, ie before our PM does something stupid.
Awesome cherries, aren’t they? We went cherry picking in the Golan and filled up 4 huge nylon bags on Saturday (not much left by today!). Good luck on finding more in two weeks – in Kibbutz Ortal, we had to gain access to the few hidden trees in kindergarten there, because the rest had already been harvested by Am Yissrael.
