Hey, thanks for stopping by from my twitter Profile page. I’ve set up this special page to give you a little more info about the person behind the Twitter avatar.
- an expat Minnesotan living in Israel for the past 30 years, who firmly believes that you can take the girl out of Minnesota, but you can’t take Minnesota out of the girl. (You betcha!)
- owner of a BA in Fine Arts and Near East Archaeology, currently working as a Senior Administrative Assistant to pay the bills. (There’s a lesson there.)
- Daughter of/sister of/wife of an x engineer, has something of a technical bent.
- mother to three 20-somethings. My children are my biggest inspiration.
- wife to a hi-tech exec. (Tfu, TFu, TFU!)
- believes that online social networking is the best invention since sliced bread, but also believes that it can’t hold a candle to real life interaction.
- tries to avoid writing in cliches, but is often unsuccessful.
- has been called, “a bit of a smartass” by someone she admires and thus wears that badge proudly.
- an avid reader of sci-fi and fantasy lit.
- loves photographing things (though I don’t consider myself a “real” photographer).
- addicted to coffee, the computer and chocolate, in that order.
- enthusiastic about WordPress, especially WordPress.com!
*Why WYSIWYG? Because “What you see is what you get” is the term that best describes me.
So now that you know a little more about me, click my blog’s title and feel free to have a look around. One thing you’ll discover early on is that everything interests me, except maybe heavy metal music and even there there are exceptions.
