With all that yarn, you’d think that I’d never need to set foot inside a yarn shop. Well, that’s probably true, but since Orly’s opened this incredibly lovely yarn shop here in Israel, I still do my bit in supporting her.

Marion Poller’s knitting book reviews at Amazon: Let’s face it, next to yarn, most knitters also have a respectible knitting library to refer to for techniques and inspiration. Before I buy or order just about any knitting book (major, major investment here between shipping, Customs and local taxes), Marion’s reviews are the first place I check. Marion has been knitting for a long time and is proficient in just about every knitting style and technique there is. She’s a professional librarian and doesn’t mince words, so every book she reviews gets the review it deserves, luckily for us. And lucky for me she’s my neighbor.
