Blog Archives
Oh. Hello, June.
Seems I’ve been spending a lot more time than I thought I would over at the knitting blog and at ravelry. Wish I could say I was knitting as much. That’s the way it goes, even though I have at least two gifts to knit in a very short period.
So what else has been keeping me busy, you ask? Certainly work. Now that I’m not going to be continuing in my present position, I seem to be busier than ever.
Blogging will continue to be light for a while. See ya when I see ya.
The inevitable happens
My knitting now has it’s own blog, Ms. Yarnaholic’s School for Wayward Skeins. Come say hi.
Thing is, Yarnaholic Confessions, my geocities site that Yahoo! is pulling the plug on, has been around since about 1999. This is seriously going to screw with my site’s Google juice. You cannot even begin to imagine how many sites have linked to it during the past 10 years. (sigh)

Are You A Yarn Collector?
Wow. As of today, there are 1677 comments on that Knitting Daily post. That post and the wonderful comments left on it were a huge reaffirmation that as long as there are knitters, there will be yarn collectors.
My first website “Yarnaholic Confessions” was born out of my addiction to collecting yarn. In the 9 years that my site has been online, I’ve received a lot of yarn collecting stories, some of which were published on the Knit Natterings page or entered in my site’s guestbook, or received privately by email (and some of those were SCARY). Personally, after nearly 28 years knitting and collecting, I can now say I’m a rehabilitated yarnaholic, although the FO to unknit yarn ratio is still screwed. (The hard evidence is on my blog’s Loose Ends page.)
